FAQs
How long is a healing session?
Healing sessions are usually around an hour. The shamanic healing process is an intuitive one and therefore the time that a healing takes will vary. The healing itself will often take between 30 to 45 minutes, however, if you allow about an hour for the whole session then this is usually ample time.
How many sessions will I need?
This will vary from person to person depending on what your requirements are. Some clients benefit from an occasional single session, possibly dealing with a very specific issue. More commonly clients will come for between 3 to 5 sessions, and sometimes more, as they find that the healing deepens as they progress. There is no set number of sessions required but my expereince is that with at least three sessions clients can make real progress in their healing or on their soul path.
How will it benefit me?
Shamanic energy works on your energy to change and expel negative vibrations and patterns within your energy body. How this will benefit you is explained in more detail in the "Outcomes for Clients" section on the Shamanic Healing page. Some clients also use the shamanic healing process to expand their own psychic abilities and their access to spirit and they achieve increased ability to access the world of spirit and a greater comfort with it. This is also a healing process, as all healing is focused on proceeding on your soul path.
What do I need to do to prepare?
There is little you need to do. Wearing comfortable clothes is helpful but not essential. You may also find you get more out of a healing if you avoid alcohol or other stimulants for 24 hours prior to a session. You should continue to take any prescription or other necessary medicines or drugs. At the heart of the healing process is access to spirit and so if you can leave some time either side of a healing session for focus and reflection then this may enhance your experience, but it is not essential.
What does it cost?
Sessions are $110 each. If you are not able to afford this I also provide healing sessions on a koha (donation) basis.
